Gharyan Operation Center in Libya hosts a Satellite Control System (SCS) in charge of monitoring and controlling our satellites. Our SCS is based on reliable and easy-to-use equipment manufactured by Thales Alenia Space. Telecommand, Telemetry and Ranging Station Antenna are sized such as to cope with all operations and manoeuvres even in case of satellite emergency. An international African team is operating the center.

This SCS is currently back-up by other equivalent means.
