The Douala Operation Center (Mission Facilities) consists of a C and Ku bands Communication System Monitoring (CSM) and a Mission Control Center (MCC). In addition, a Monitoring and Control System (M&C) provides means to monitor the facilities themselves.
Mission Facilities Overview
That overall system is composed of two main subsystems:
- The CSM (Communication and System Monitoring): Monics Net
MonicsNET Communications System Monitoring (CSM) is an automated system designed for the
management of satellite link performance.
It uses a distributed architecture, such that the measurement and analysis of RF spectra is completed at the same point as the data is collected.
- The MCC (Mission Control Center).
The MCC enables the management of the system, planning, allocation and link performance calculation of space segment resource utilization in the RascomStar-QAF Bandwidth Lease Services.
